Zelkova serrata 'ZSFKF' Myrimar® Zelkova PP #17,220
The parent tree, found at Pritchard's Nursery in Madison, Georgia, has endured the tough heat and drought of the south during the 1980's and 1990's with great vitality. Dark green leathery foliage allows Myrimar® to excel in the midst of today's tough urban challenges. The other secret lies beneath the soil surface where a fibrous network of roots anchors and nourishes this selection. This characteristic allows Myrimar® to be one of the few Zelkovas that does not require grafting of the tree to other rootstocks. From the tip of the roots to the tip of the canopy, this is all Myrimar®... a tree to give the landscape professional a fresh new look at Zelkovas. Height: 50-60 feet Spread: 40-45 feet Hardiness: USDA Zone 5-8
